The Wharf is in Sanctuary Road in Cable Beach, and is a seafood specialist restaurant. The menu is full of all types of seafood, and it’s one of those places where you go up and pay first and then wait for your food to arrive.
We tried the Wharf for lunch one day and shared a plate of chilli prawns and chips with aioli. This was really good and absolutely hit the spot for lunch.
We returned for an evening meal. My partner chose crab spring rolls to start which were very tasty with a lovely dip.
I chose the oysters with wakame dressing – lovely and fresh, and really good.
For main my partner chose the barramundi coconut curry with steamed rice, which he really enjoyed. It was fragrant and tasty like a malaysian style curry.
I chose slipper lobster and chips with aioli. The portion size included 6 slipper lobsters which was plenty, and they were happy to cook them with oil instead of butter for me.
We really enjoyed Wharf. The staff are friendly, and the produce is good quality and fresh. It’s not cheap but well worth the expense for some of the best seafood that Broome has to offer.
