Vietnomese is a fairly new Vietnamese cafe on Charles Street in North Perth. Part of a complex of shops and cafes, it has an adequate car park which can be approached via Kadina Street. The menu seems to be based on Vietnamese street food with bahn mi, pho, spring rolls and salads.
We were greeted by friendly staff who seated us outside for our dinner. I chose a hone lemon iced tea to start which was absolutely delicious and had just the right amount of sweetness.
We selected mum’s vegetarian spring rolls – perfectly crispy with a good tasty filling.
We also chose crispy tofu with eggplant in tomato sauce, another very tasty dish.
To go with this we selected the crispy barramundi with tamarind dipping sauce.
We enjoyed all of our dishes, the service was really good, and the flavours went well together. I would like to return to try the bahn mi and pho. This is a real neighbourhood gem.
